Travelforce/Virgin Terms and Conditions

1. Entry is open to all residents of NSW and Victoria, Australia, over the age of 18. Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

2. Promotion starts 10.00am 07/07/10 and closes 12.00am 01/09/10.

3. To enter the draw simply visit http://comp.travelforce.com.au, enter your name, email, phone number and state of residence, then indicate your preference to receive future news and competition offers. For additional entries, add additional names and email addresses. These people will be contacted via email and offered the opportunity to enter the competition by subscribing to Travelforce Connections.

4. Each entrant may only register once using a single email address. A maximum of 11 entries may be received from each entrant including the entry for registering and one entry for up to 10 people referred. Using multiple email addresses to gain additional entries is forbidden. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify such entries.

5. The prize winner must be able to verify their identity and email address before the prize will be issued.

6. Prize is 2 x economy flights from Sydney to Hong Kong and 3 nights accommodation at the Mira Hotel Hong Kong in a City Room valued at $4,290.

7. The draw will take place at 10.00am 08/09/10 at Travelforce, Level 8, 345 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

8. The prize winners name will be published in Travelforce Connections on 10/09/10. Prize winner will also be contacted by phone and notified in writing.

9. A draw for the prize, if it remains unclaimed, will take place on 08/12/10 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winner will be notified by telephone and in writing.

10. The prize will be invalid without the original prize winner letter.

11. The prize is valid for prize winner and a companion travelling together in both directions.

12. The flights must be booked within two months of winning the prize.

13. Valid on Virgin Atlantic services over the SYD-HKG route and in class of travel stated.

14. Travel to and from Sydney, spending money, meals, travel taxes and surcharges, travel insurance, passports, visas, transport to and from departure point and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the prize winner.

15. Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-endorsable for travel on any other airline.

16. The travel period cannot extend beyond the expiry date of 31/03/11.

17. Once the tickets have been issued they are valid only for the flights/dates shown.

18. Limousine transfers are not permitted with this/these tickets.

19. Frequent flyer points cannot be accrued on these tickets.

20. Prize winner seats are subject to availability. Virgin Atlantic reserves the right to offer an alternative date of travel when preferred choice is not available.

21. Prize cannot be used during the following periods: 01JUN-15AUG10, 03DEC10 – 15JAN11.

23. To the extent permitted by law, under no circumstances, shall the Promoter be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damages suffered or incurred in connection with the prize. This includes, but is not limited to, injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense, inconvenience and third party claims.

24. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to ensure they are in possession of valid passports, visa and re-entry permits. Any penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements are the prize winner’s sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return.

25. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.

26. The prize will be forfeited for any breach of these conditions or the unlawful use of the prize.

27. The Promoter requires the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting this competition. Unless the entrant indicates otherwise, the Promoter will also use such information to provide the entrant with communications that the Promoter feels may be of interest to them. An entrant who does not wish to receive communications from the Promoter can contact the Promoter.
